Lauren Skuba, MA, MFTC, Therapist & Founder

Lauren Skuba

I believe that relationships have the power to heal and when you feel safe and connected in your significant relationships, you not only feel better, you are able to take on the challenges that life brings with more resiliency. In my work I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence based theory grounded in the science of attachment. This approach is focused on creating secure and loving connections in your significant relationships. Often distress in relationships can be traced to a stuck pattern of conflict that leads to disconnection. In our work together we will explore your unique relationship path, identify strengths and ways that you get stuck, support new ways of communicating, and developing new patterns of connection.

I completed my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Regis University and specialize in working from a relational perspective with couples, families, and individuals. In session I offer a collaborative, non-judgmental space where I facilitate new emotional experiences. I will support you in exploring and understanding what you’re feeling, how you protect yourself emotionally, identify relationship longings, and increase authenticity in your relationships.
